Question 1

Is every feature really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is no paid tier, no trial clock and no usage cap. Every capture, editing and export feature listed on this site ships in the free extension, with no account to create.

Question 2

Does it work on every site?

Accepted Answer

Almost. Chrome does not allow extensions to capture certain protected pages, including chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store itself. Everything else the browser can render — including authenticated dashboards — works.

Question 3

Where do my screenshots go?

Accepted Answer

Captures are saved to your downloads folder when you export, and kept in a local screenshot library inside the extension's own browser storage. Nothing is uploaded to an external server.

Question 4

Is my data private?

Accepted Answer

Screenshot processing happens locally on your device. The developer has declared that it does not collect or use your data, does not sell it to third parties, and does not transfer it for unrelated purposes.

Question 5

Why does the tab need to stay visible?

Accepted Answer

The extension captures what the browser is actually rendering. If you switch away mid-capture, Chrome stops painting the page and the capture can come back incomplete. Keep the tab visible until it finishes.

Question 6

What formats can I export?

Accepted Answer

PNG for lossless output, JPEG for smaller files, and PDF with configurable page size and orientation. PNG can also be copied directly to the clipboard.
